7 DAy SIKHISM & TIBETAN BUDDHISM TOUR

This tour is based on the Punjab and Dharamsala, While the focus is the 2 religions we also ensure students see how the religion intertwines with the culture and communities of the people. 

DAY 1 - arrive in Delhi, train journey to Amritsar

DAY 2 - Walking tour of Amritsar, evening tour of the Golden Temple 

DAY 3 - travel to Dharamsala

DAY 4 - tour of Dalai Lama temple, and Norbulingka Institute

DAY 5 - travel to Anandpur Sahib, birthplace of the the Sikh Khalsa

DAY 6 - visit to a local rural village and school

DAY 7 - return to Delhi for flight home

12 DAY HUMANITIES TOUR

This is our full tour and allows you to cover all 3 states - Rajasthan, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, with all its amazing contrasts and diversity. Perfect for the Easter break.

DAY 1 - arrive in Delhi, train journey to Ludhiana

DAY 2 - tour of local shops and markets of Ludhiana followed by a visit to Sahauli village in rural Punjab

DAY 3 -  visit to local government school then a visit to an orphanage in Jalandhar, and on to Amritsar

DAY 4 - tour of the Golden Temple at Amritsar and visit to Jalwania Bagh, before travelling to Dharamsala

DAY 5 - tour of Dalai Lama temple, and Norbulingka Institute

DAY 6 - tour of Chandigarh including visits to Rock Garden, Sukna Lake and Sector 17, followed by overnight sleeper train to Bikaner in Rajasthan

DAY 7 - Camel safari in the Rajasthan desert, followed by overnight camp in the desert

DAY 8 - tour of Bikaner fort and onward travel to Ajmer

DAY 9 - tour of Barefoot College, world famous NGO in the field of rural development, 

DAY 10 - tour of the PInk City in Jaipur

DAY 11 - onward travel to Agra for a tour of the Taj Mahal and Red Fort

DAY 12 - return to Delhi for flight home

9 DAY HUMANITIES TOUR

This slightly shorter humanities tour is perfect if you are thinking of going away during October or February half term. Fly out on the Friday evening and return on the Sunday afternoon, giving you 9 days in India.
